Glad to see you back! I was starting to worry about you. It hit here as well and my parents lost power for a few days too.

yeah we were without power for a week my whole family went to the high school to volunteer during the blackout, only a portion of the school was lit up by a generator. My dad, older brother, and myself were in the band hall holding families, there was no light, next door in the choir hall was the special needs people and they didn't even have a lantern like we did.

that night a city wide curfew was enacted too... no one out past 8pm i was freaking out cuz the National Guard kept telling us we'd have to stay the night at the shelter and I got way paranoid....thankfully that misunderstanding was cleared up and as long as my mom and dad had a recross name tag we could go home... phew! lol
